THE TOP 10 FEMALE POWERLIFTERS THAT YOU SHOULD BE FOLLOWING

now it's time for the ladies to shine

We covered the men already, and if you haven't checked out that list, here it is.  But enough about the men, it's time for the ladies.  Bad ass, strong as hell, ladies.  Deadlift more than most of the guys at your 24 hour fitness center ladies.  Not afraid to pee a little in the middle of a heavy squat session ladies.

Our criteria to make the list is very simple again; be strong, be interesting, and have less than 10,000 followers on Instagram.  As awesome as the women on our list are, we know that we probably missed some good ones, so let us know who we missed!  Like our Facebook page so you can leave a comment and tell us where we dropped the ball or email us at getbig@massenomics.com

The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.

21 years old, lean, and just repping four plates like it's no big deal.  She was an IPF raw world champ in 2016.  She is also a collegiate athlete.  With this strength level, there's probably not much she couldn't excel at athletically.

I wonder if this kid knows that his mom is stronger than most of his friends' dads.  If he does know, I hope he makes a point to let them know.  Jen is another IPF world champ.  There are a few of those on the list.  You might think they grow on trees, but they don't.  They grow from protein shakes and deep squats. #mymomisstrongerthanyourmom

Here is a lady that can do just about everything.  Powerlifting, CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, and probably scored really high on her ACT's.  Sometimes life just isn't fair.... But seriously, there does seem to be a lot more women that can transfer their skills effectively across the various lifting disciplines than there are men.  Why is that?

Almost a 1,200 pound total.  Pretty respectable for a guy getting into powerlifting.  Pretty amazing for a woman.  Kaitlyn says she has also lost 84 pounds.  That's good proof that getting stronger through powerlifting can also have some pretty awesome results on your physique.

ANOTHER world champion.  How about a 1,400 pound total this time?  When you break it down that's close to a 600 squat, 300 bench, and 500 deadlift.  If you're a man, and you see this woman warming up to squat in your gym, just save yourself the embarrassment and leave.  You will thank us later.

Two plates on the bench is a pretty huge number for a woman.  I would equate that to hitting four plates for a man, if not even better.  Renae isn't afraid to call out creepy online guys when she sees them either.  So you're going to want to follow her for the entertainment at least.  #noyoucan'thavemyusedsocks

4.  Cassaundra @cass_Squats

It's pretty easy to tell by her name that Cassaundra squats.  We can also tell by her Instagram that she has tried some strongman events too.  There is no doubt that it takes a lot of dedication in the gym to be able to do well at both.  Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for a list in the future that covers strongwoman competitors specifically.

Some clips from Saturday. Definitely inspired to add some fun new tricks to training. Will do again 10/10!!

Strong things can come in small packages.  She's sponsored by SBD, so we are pretty jealous of that.  She also deadlifts over 3.5 times her body weight.  Get out your calculator and figure out how much you have to deadlift to match that....

2.  Sandy Pants @sandypantsss

She is a Feed Me Fight Me athlete, which is another awesome company.  Check them out if you haven't before.  Sandy gets training advice and guidance from the Lilliebridges.  That's not fair.  No wonder she seems to be getting stronger and stronger. #feedmefightme #teamlilliebridge

No, that isn't a typo.  This is a woman squatting 579 pounds in knee sleeves.  AND she is only a teenager.  So... this teenage girl squats more than most grown men I know that powerlift as their primary hobby.  I think it is safe to say she has earned the number one spot on our list.  #holyshit

That's Our story and we are stickin' to it
